Greg Stubbings Based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Greg Stubbings, who holds a Diploma of Photoimaging, is quickly gaining a reputation as a producer of outstanding images for advertising, portraiture, editorial, corporate, special events, photojournalism and documentary photography.
"I am interested in reality and life as it is. I try to capture things as they happen around me. I get to know the subjects I photograph; I talk to them, hear their stories and most of all learn from them.
He likes to tell a story, narrating people, events and issues from the world around us, whether it be family events and celebrations or an Olympian’s journey.
In addition to his commercial work, Greg likes to exhibit his fine art and photojournalism work.
His photography has been showcased around Australia, most recently as part of the Fujifilm Site Unseen Collection.
Greg uses the latest in digital technologies to capture and enhance images. He also works with traditional film-based equipment and materials in addition to experimenting with the format and exposures of a 1956 Kodak Box Brownie.

Hanspeter Büchli My career in photography started in 1964 in Switzerland, with an apprenticehip in the printing industry as a camera operator. My 16th birthday present was a manual, fixed lens Voigtlaender camera.
By the time I'd arrived in Australia in 1969, I had photographed and hand developed over 700 black and white images of mainly family, friends and nature. 34 years and a few thousand images later I moved from Sydney and semi retired to Maleny on the Sunshine coast Hinterland, where I now have the time to persue my career as a creative photographer.
In 2004,I was involved in establishing the Hinterland Photoclub in Maleny. I have been fortunate over the years to sell some of my work and to win a number of competitions dating back to 1965. Commercially, some of my work has appeared on channel 7, on record covers, in various newspapers and graced some magazine covers, calendars and musical promotion flyers and cards. In 1979 I aquired a NSW Press, Radio and Television Pass. My camera equipment has also progressed over the years - from the Voigtlaender to my first Russian built REVUEFLEX SLR to a NIKORMAT, an early NIKON FE as well as a CANON FT QL and a RICOH XR-2s. In 2002 I got my first digital camera, a CANON Powershot S40. My current camera is a CANON 30D DSLR.
My aim is to preserve memories that deserve a place in history, and to display, exhibit and sell my often unusual and/or unconventional images. By trying to compose my frames carefully I hope to achieve that difference between a "snapshot" and a creative image.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site.

Hugh Weaver Now based on the Sunshine Coast, I was born in the UK and lived my teenage years in Tasmania. Since then we haved lived in the Northern Territory for some years, North Queensland and Brisbane, before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 1997.
I have been an amateur photographer for many years since buying my first Yashica SLR in the early 70s, and have many boxes of slides that we have collected over the years that are now awaiting conversion to digital. In all that time I was an enthusiastic amateur mostly shooting with a fairly basic Practica and Pentax SLRs that I have owned over the years on holidays and various bush camping trips, and it is only in the last 3 or 4 years that my interest in photography has started to develop into what is becoming a consuming passion.

Jens Hetzel I have found that every photographer has a favourite type of subject matter for their work, one that brings true inspiration and satisfaction. For me, that subject is Historic Australia. I enjoy photography of different subjects in a variety of locations, conditions, and situations, but no matter what I am photographing, nothing brings me more fulfilment than trying to capture the spirit and atmosphere of our Aussie history.
I have been a “serious” photographer for 4 years. My only formal photography training, is a fourteen week Black & White Photography and Dark Room Techniques Course. And from my own trial and error in trying to take the best pictures I can.
I have been taught much about photography by talking with other photographers like my mentor and friend, Colin Beard. The assistance and advice that I have received from Colin is unmeasurable. My collection of photographs would not be here was it not for Colin.
I am a die-hard SONY & MINOLTA user. My photographic equipment consists of:
Sony A100 Digital Camera
Minolta Dynax 7 Film Camera
Minolta Dynax 5 Film Camera
Mamiya C220 Medium Format Film Camera
Plus various lenses
I hope you are able to feel the spirit and atmosphere of my photos, as I have capturing them.
Jens
